These Terms and Conditions set out the rules that apply when you use the Omoda Parts UK website, create an account or purchase products from us.
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before submitting an order. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by them.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or replaces your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
Omoda Parts UK operates the website:
We provide Omoda parts, accessories, maintenance products and other vehicle-related items to customers throughout the United Kingdom.
You can contact us by email at:
References in these Terms and Conditions to “Omoda Parts UK”, “we”, “us” or “our” mean the operator of this website.
References to “you” or “your” mean the person using our website or placing an order.
You may use our website only for lawful personal or business purposes.
You must not:
Use the website in a way that breaks any applicable law
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, server or customer accounts
Introduce viruses, malware or other harmful technology
Interfere with the website’s normal operation
Attempt to overload, disable or damage the website
Use automated systems to extract substantial amounts of website content without permission
Submit false, misleading or fraudulent information
Use the website to impersonate another person
Use customer accounts or payment methods without authorisation
We may restrict, suspend or terminate access to the website where we reasonably believe it is being misused.
We may update, change, suspend or withdraw any part of the website without notice. We do not guarantee that the website or any particular feature will always remain available.
To place an order through our website, you must:
Be at least 18 years old
Be legally capable of entering into a binding contract
Provide accurate contact, billing and delivery information
Be authorised to use the payment method selected
Be purchasing products for lawful purposes
We reserve the right to decline an order where these requirements are not met.
We take reasonable care to ensure that product titles, descriptions, specifications, measurements, prices and availability are accurate.
However, product images are provided mainly for illustration and identification. The actual product may differ slightly because of:
Screen and display settings
Lighting used in product photography
Supplier or manufacturer updates
Packaging changes
Minor production variations
Changes to branding or labelling
Differences between vehicle specifications or model years
Unless a particular feature is expressly stated in the product description, minor differences that do not materially affect the product’s function or compatibility will not necessarily mean that the product is faulty or misdescribed.
You should read the complete product page before ordering, including any measurements, compatibility information, variation choices and fitting notes.
Please contact us before placing your order if you require clarification about a product.
You are responsible for checking that a product is suitable for your particular vehicle before ordering and before fitting, installing, connecting or modifying it.
Compatibility may depend on factors including:
The exact Omoda model
Model year
Production date
Trim level
Vehicle specification
Market or country version
Right-hand-drive or left-hand-drive configuration
Product dimensions
Connection type
Shape of the original component
Existing factory options or equipment
A vehicle model name alone does not always guarantee compatibility.
Where a product page asks you to compare measurements, photographs, key shapes, connection types or existing components, you should complete those checks before ordering.
Please contact us at info@omoda-parts.co.uk before placing your order if you are uncertain about compatibility.
Ordering an incorrect product or variation after accurate compatibility information has been provided will normally be treated as a change-of-mind return rather than a product fault.
This does not affect your rights where information supplied by us was inaccurate or misleading.
Measurements displayed on product pages are intended to help determine suitability.
Small variations may occur because of manufacturing tolerances or the method used to measure the product.
You should not rely on photographs alone to determine size. Where measurements are supplied, compare them with the relevant area or existing component in your vehicle before ordering.
All products are subject to availability.
Some products are sourced through suppliers, fulfilment partners or our international storage and distribution network. Availability may therefore change quickly and without notice.
Placing an item in your basket does not reserve it.
If a product becomes unavailable after you submit an order, we may:
Offer a suitable alternative;
Ask whether you are willing to wait for new stock; or
Cancel the affected product and issue a refund.
We will not substitute a materially different product without your agreement.
Prices displayed on our website are in pounds sterling.
The price payable is normally the price shown at checkout when you submit your order.
We may change prices at any time, but a later price change will not normally affect an order for which a contract has already been formed.
Despite our efforts, pricing errors may occasionally occur.
Where an obvious pricing error is identified before a contract has been formed, we may:
Contact you and offer the product at the correct price; or
Cancel the affected order and refund any payment taken.
We are not required to supply a product at an obviously incorrect price where the error should reasonably have been recognised.
Prices and charges payable through our website will be displayed during checkout.
Where a product is dispatched through our international storage and distribution network, we will arrange the normal fulfilment process described on the website.
Customers should not normally be asked to pay an unexpected import charge where the checkout process stated that applicable delivery charges were included.
Please contact us before paying any unexpected charge requested by a courier or delivery provider so that we can investigate it.
Any delivery charge payable will be displayed during checkout before you submit your order.
We may offer delivery promotions, including free standard delivery where an order exceeds a specified value.
Where offered, free standard delivery may apply to qualifying orders over £30.
Delivery thresholds, prices and promotions may be changed or withdrawn for future orders. The delivery option shown and selected during checkout will apply to the order being placed.
Some locations or unusually large products may require a different delivery service. Any applicable charge will be shown or agreed before the order is accepted.
Discount codes and promotional offers may be subject to:
Expiry dates
Minimum order values
Product exclusions
Customer eligibility requirements
One-use restrictions
Maximum discount values
Limits on combining promotions
Other conditions stated with the offer
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
Only one discount code may be used per order;
Discount codes cannot be exchanged for cash;
Discount codes cannot be applied retrospectively;
Delivery charges do not count towards a minimum product spend; and
A promotion may be withdrawn before an order is placed.
We may cancel or refuse a discount where there has been an obvious error, misuse, unauthorised publication or fraudulent activity.
When you submit an order, you are making an offer to purchase the products in your basket.
Before submitting the order, you should check:
The products selected
Product variations
Vehicle compatibility
Quantities
Billing details
Delivery details
Delivery method
Total price
You are responsible for correcting errors before submitting your order.
After you place an order, we may send an email confirming that it has been received and that payment has been authorised or taken.
This initial email is an acknowledgement of your order. It does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted.
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods offered during checkout.
Payment may be authorised or collected when you submit your order, even though the contract may not yet have been formed.
Payments are processed through third-party payment providers. We do not normally receive or store your complete payment-card details.
You confirm that:
You are authorised to use the payment method provided;
The payment details are accurate;
Sufficient funds or credit are available; and
The transaction is not fraudulent.
An order may be delayed or cancelled where payment fails, is reversed, is disputed or is flagged for security review.
A contract between you and Omoda Parts UK is normally formed when:
We dispatch the product; and
We send you an email confirming that the order has been dispatched, fulfilled or completed.
Where an order contains multiple products dispatched separately, a separate contract may be formed for each product when that product is dispatched.
Before the contract is formed, we may decline or cancel an order for reasons including:
The product is unavailable
A supplier cannot fulfil the order
The product has been discontinued
There is an obvious pricing or description error
Payment has failed
Payment or the order has been flagged for review
We suspect fraud or misuse
Delivery to the address is not possible
Incorrect or incomplete information has been provided
We cannot source the product within a reasonable period
The order breaches these Terms and Conditions
A discount or promotion has been used improperly
Where we cancel an order before forming a contract, any payment taken for the cancelled products will be refunded.
After an order is placed, it may be marked as processing while we:
Verify payment
Review the order
Check product availability
Confirm supplier availability
Prepare the product for dispatch
Send fulfilment details to a warehouse or supplier
Complete fraud or security checks
Processing does not necessarily mean that the order has been dispatched or that a sales contract has been formed.
Some products may be sourced, processed or dispatched through our international storage and distribution network.
This allows us to provide a wider range of Omoda parts and accessories while keeping prices competitive.
An order may be dispatched directly from:
A product supplier
A fulfilment partner
A distribution centre
A storage facility
An international warehouse
Products from the same order may arrive in separate parcels or on different dates.
The origin of dispatch does not change your contract with Omoda Parts UK or reduce your statutory consumer rights.
Estimated delivery is usually 7–14 working days unless a different estimate is stated on the product page or during checkout.
Delivery periods are estimates rather than guaranteed dates unless we have expressly agreed a fixed delivery date with you.
Delivery may be affected by:
Supplier processing times
Product availability
Courier delays
Customs procedures
Public holidays
Busy seasonal periods
Severe weather
Transport disruption
Incorrect delivery details
Remote delivery locations
Events outside our reasonable control
Where we become aware of a significant delay, we will take reasonable steps to provide an update.
Nothing in this section limits any statutory rights you may have where goods are not delivered within an agreed or legally required period.
Products within one order may be sent separately.
You may receive more than one dispatch notification, tracking number or parcel.
A partial delivery does not necessarily mean that the remaining items are missing or cancelled.
Please check your dispatch notifications and contact us where the estimated delivery period for a remaining product has passed.
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
This includes:
Recipient name
Building number or name
Street
Town or city
Postcode
Country
Telephone number where requested
Please contact us immediately if you notice an error.
We cannot guarantee that an address can be amended once an order has entered processing or fulfilment.
Where incorrect or incomplete information results in failed delivery, redirection, return to sender or redelivery, you may be responsible for reasonable additional costs where permitted by law.
Where you provide delivery instructions or nominate a safe place, you authorise the courier to follow those instructions where reasonably possible.
We are not responsible for loss arising solely because a parcel was left in a location expressly selected or authorised by you, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
Courier drivers may decide that a nominated location is unsafe or unsuitable.
You are responsible for monitoring delivery updates and making reasonable arrangements to receive or collect your parcel.
Please contact us before refusing a delivery.
Refusing a parcel does not always ensure that it is returned to the correct warehouse or linked to your order.
Where a parcel is:
Refused without contacting us;
Not collected;
Returned because the address was incorrect; or
Returned after repeated unsuccessful delivery attempts,
we may deduct reasonable return, handling or redelivery costs where permitted by law.
Any refund will normally be considered after the parcel has been returned, received and identified.
Risk of loss or damage normally passes to you when the goods are physically delivered to:
You;
A person identified by you to receive them; or
A location expressly nominated by you, where applicable.
Ownership of the goods passes to you once:
We have received full payment; and
The goods have been dispatched.
This does not affect your rights where an item is lost or damaged before delivery.
You should inspect the product as soon as reasonably possible after delivery and before fitting, installing, connecting or altering it.
Check that:
The correct product has arrived
The selected variation is correct
The product appears complete
There is no visible damage
Measurements and shape are suitable
The product matches the relevant vehicle area
Electrical connections appear correct
Please contact us before fitting the product if you believe there is a problem.
Fitting or modifying an obviously incorrect item may affect the available remedy where the resulting damage could reasonably have been avoided.
This does not remove your statutory rights in relation to genuine faults.
You may ask to cancel an order before it has been dispatched by contacting:
Please include your name and order number.
We will try to stop the order where fulfilment has not already progressed too far. However, cancellation cannot be guaranteed once an order has entered processing, packing or dispatch.
Where the product has already been dispatched, you may need to receive it and follow the returns procedure.
If you are purchasing as a UK consumer, you will normally have the right to cancel an online order without providing a reason.
The cancellation period normally ends 14 days after the day on which:
You receive the product;
A person nominated by you receives the product; or
You receive the final product, instalment or part where an order is delivered separately.
You must clearly tell us that you wish to cancel before the cancellation period expires.
Contact:
Please include:
Your full name
Your order number
The products being cancelled
A clear statement that you wish to cancel
After notifying us, you must normally return the relevant products within a further 14 days.
Some products may be excluded from cancellation rights where permitted by law, including certain personalised, customised, hygiene-sensitive or inseparably mixed products.
Returns are handled in accordance with our Returns, Refunds and Cancellations Policy.
You must contact us before returning a product.
Do not return a product to an address shown on its parcel, packaging or delivery label unless we have specifically confirmed that you should use that address.
We will provide the appropriate return instructions after reviewing your request.
Products sent to an unauthorised address may not reach us or may not be identifiable, which could delay or prevent the return from being processed.
Products returned because you have changed your mind should be returned:
Unused
Unfitted
Undamaged
Complete
In their original packaging
With all supplied components and accessories
With any instructions or documentation
Securely packaged for return delivery
You may inspect a product only to the extent reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and suitability, similar to the way it could be inspected in a physical shop.
Please do not fit, install, connect, mark, alter, modify or remove protective films from a product unless you intend to keep it.
You should also take reasonable care not to damage the original packaging when opening and inspecting the product.
Where a returned product has been used or handled beyond what was reasonably necessary to inspect it, its value may be reduced.
This may include products that have been:
Used
Fitted or installed
Electrically connected
Marked or scratched
Damaged
Modified or altered
Returned incomplete
Returned without original packaging
Returned with damaged packaging
Returned without accessories, instructions or components
Contaminated or left in an unsaleable condition
Where the product can no longer be sold as brand new because of its condition or the way it has been handled, we may deduct up to 50% of the product’s value from the refund to reflect the genuine reduction in value.
The amount of any deduction will be assessed after inspection and may take account of:
The condition of the product
Evidence of use or fitting
Marks, scratches, wear or damage
Missing parts or accessories
The condition of the original packaging
Cleaning or testing required
Repackaging required
The product’s remaining resale value
A deduction will not be applied automatically to every return.
Any deduction must reflect the actual loss in value caused by handling beyond what was reasonably necessary.
Where the product has suffered a greater loss in value because of significant damage, missing components or alteration, the deduction may reflect the full reduction in value where legally permitted.
These deductions do not apply merely because a product is faulty, damaged when delivered, incorrect or not as described.
Products should be returned in their original packaging wherever reasonably possible.
Original packaging is important because it may:
Protect the product during return transport
Contain product identification information
Include fitting instructions or accessories
Form part of the product’s resale presentation
You should not write on, tape over or attach return labels directly to branded product packaging where an outer shipping box or protective wrapping can reasonably be used.
A missing or damaged package will not automatically remove your statutory right to cancel. However, where damage to or loss of the packaging genuinely reduces the product’s value, this may be taken into account when calculating a refund deduction.
For change-of-mind returns, you are normally responsible for the direct cost of returning the product.
This includes returns where:
The product is no longer wanted
You ordered the wrong product
You selected the wrong model, colour, size or variation
You failed to check accurate compatibility information
You changed your mind after delivery
We recommend using a tracked and appropriately insured service.
You remain responsible for the product until it reaches the authorised return address.
Please retain your proof of postage and tracking details until the return has been completed.
Where a product is confirmed to be faulty, damaged on arrival, incorrect or not as described, we will provide an appropriate return method or explain how reasonable return costs will be handled.
Where you exercise a valid statutory right to cancel, we will normally refund:
The price paid for the cancelled product; and
The cost of our least expensive standard outbound delivery option, where a delivery charge was paid.
Where you chose a more expensive or enhanced delivery method, the additional amount above standard delivery is not normally refundable.
We may withhold the refund until:
We receive the returned product; or
You provide satisfactory evidence that it has been sent back,
whichever occurs first.
Refunds will normally be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned product or acceptable evidence of return.
A lawful deduction may be made where unnecessary handling has reduced the product’s value, as explained in Section 28.
Products supplied by Omoda Parts UK must meet the standards required by applicable consumer law.
Please contact us promptly if a product:
Arrives damaged
Is faulty
Is not as described
Is materially different from the product ordered
Is missing essential components
Is unsuitable because we supplied the incorrect item
Contact:
Please provide:
Your name
Your order number
A description of the problem
Clear photographs or video
Photographs of the packaging where relevant
Depending on the circumstances and your statutory rights, the available remedy may include:
A repair
A replacement
Replacement components
A full refund
A partial refund
Another appropriate solution
Please do not dispose of, repair, modify or return the product until we have reviewed the issue and provided instructions.
The change-of-mind deduction described in Section 28 does not apply where a product is genuinely faulty, damaged when delivered, incorrect or not as described.
Please report delivery damage as soon as reasonably possible.
We may ask you to provide photographs showing:
The outer parcel
The delivery label
Internal packaging
The damaged product
All contents received
Please keep the product and its packaging while the matter is investigated, as they may be needed as evidence for the courier or fulfilment provider.
You are responsible for checking that a product is correct and suitable before fitting, installing, connecting, applying, cutting, drilling, painting or otherwise modifying it.
Where specialist knowledge is required, installation should be carried out by a suitably qualified or experienced person.
We are not responsible for damage caused by:
Incorrect fitting
Improper installation
Incorrect removal
Misuse
Modification
Unauthorised repair
Incorrect wiring
Unsuitable voltage
Failure to follow instructions
Use with an incompatible vehicle or component
Accidental damage after delivery
Normal wear and tear
A product does not automatically lose all return or warranty rights merely because it has been fitted. However, we may need information about the installation to determine whether a problem resulted from a manufacturing fault or incorrect fitting.
Unless required by law or expressly agreed by us in advance, we are not responsible for third-party costs associated with:
Removing a product
Diagnosing a fault
Fitting a replacement
Labour charges
Vehicle recovery
Vehicle hire
Missed appointments
Travel
Lost earnings
Other indirect expenses
You should inspect and, where appropriate, test a product before paying for permanent installation.
Nothing in this section excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Electrical products must be checked carefully before installation or connection.
Please confirm:
Compatibility
Connector type
Voltage requirements
Wiring orientation
Product condition
Any instructions supplied
Where an electrical item is returned after being fitted or connected for change-of-mind reasons, a deduction of up to 50% may apply if it can no longer be sold as brand new.
Returns may be refused or refunds reduced where damage has been caused by incorrect wiring, voltage, installation, alteration or misuse.
This does not affect your statutory rights where the product was faulty when supplied.
The statutory right to cancel may not apply to products:
Made to your specifications
Personalised for you
Custom-manufactured
Clearly modified at your request
This exception does not affect your rights where the product is faulty, incorrect or not as agreed.
Where our website allows you to submit a review, comment, photograph or other material, you confirm that:
The content is honest and based on genuine experience
It does not infringe another person’s rights
It is not unlawful, threatening or abusive
It does not contain malware
It does not include private information without permission
It is not submitted in exchange for an undisclosed incentive
You retain ownership of your content but grant us permission to display, reproduce and use it for website, customer-service and marketing purposes.
We may moderate or remove content that breaches these requirements.
We will not remove a genuine negative review merely because it is critical.
Where account registration is available, you are responsible for:
Providing accurate information
Keeping your password confidential
Restricting access to your device
Informing us of suspected unauthorised access
Keeping account details up to date
You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless it resulted from a security failure for which we are responsible.
We may suspend or close an account where we reasonably suspect:
Fraud
Abuse
Unauthorised access
Repeated false claims
Misuse of promotions
Breach of these Terms and Conditions
We may carry out checks to prevent fraud and protect customers, payment providers and our business.
An order may be delayed, declined or cancelled where:
Billing and delivery information does not match
Payment is flagged by a provider
Unusual ordering activity is identified
We cannot verify essential details
There is evidence of account or payment misuse
We may request additional information where reasonably necessary to verify an order.
We reserve the right to investigate claims where there is reasonable evidence of:
Fraud
Deliberate product damage
Product substitution
False reports of non-delivery
Missing components
Manipulated photographs
Repeated misuse of the returns process
Chargeback abuse
Where legally permitted, we may refuse or reduce a refund if evidence shows that the returned product is not the item supplied, has been deliberately damaged or has suffered a genuine reduction in value through unnecessary handling.
This does not affect genuine customers exercising their legal rights.
